As a material exploration this project takes a common object, electrical tape, and attempts to elevate it. Using the tape to wrap around a mold, it’s not until the waste bin is removed that it’s true appearance takes shape. A crumpled and imperfect surface makes the waste bin visually intriguing and speaks to its intended use.
